Special volume discount paid at the end of the year. It favors the concentration of suppliers and customers. It is usually by bracket, with a scale that assigns certain percentages for each total volume or growth over the previous year. Sometimes it is by ladder, so that the discount that corresponds to each volume is calculated. If the average discount is the same, with ladder calculation, the marginal discount in the last tranches is higher.
